Prometheus presents a special summer tour commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States. Under Artistic Director R. Paul Crabb, the professional vocal consort explores our nation's rich musical heritage through thematic programs highlighting different facets of American identity. From sacred traditions to freedom songs, celebratory music to profound expressions of social change, this tour celebrates the diverse voices that have shaped our national character since 1776. Each performance features repertoire spanning America's 250-year history, showcasing how our musical language has evolved while continuing to express our deepest values.
